Guest House “Konakyt” is located in the village Orehovo, 60 kilometers from Plovdiv town. Rock gorge along the river Oreshitsa.A natural object under protection – Waterfall, located in the area of “Skakaloto” – 0, 5 kilometers south of the village. The second largest waterfall in the country with a height of 30 meters fall. A natural object under protection. – Kosten kamyk (stone bone) – a colossal rock massive, looking like an enormous wall, over which grows old spruce forest ; it is situated at 4 kilometers southwest of the village. This natural rock phenomenon is marked as a natural landmark in the encyclopedia in 1965. There is a natural waterfall over a big rock niche with a height of the fall 30 meters, giving a glory to the region. It is connected with the stone canyon in the area of “Kolyovo dere”. It is announced as a natural landmark. There is a legend telling that the inhabitants of the closest village Koylovo,refusing to accept the Islam were throwing alivefrom the edge of the gap. The foot of the rock was covered with bones, from where the name of the region came. – Vaklite dupki – located 7 kilometers south from the village (2 kilometers south from the region “Kabata”). South eroded slope with natural rock (cave) formations, covered with calcium. These interesting rock niches are declared as a natural phenomenon.-Cheloveshka cave, in which during the Ottoman rule was burned and killed the most of the population of the village.-In the close proximity are Chudnite mostove (Wonderful bridges).The natural monument was designed by a river, which gradually carved the walls and a part of the ceiling of a deep cave. After withdrawal of the river two marble arcs left, or so-called bridges. – About 15 kilometers south, in a near proximity to the peak Malyk Persenk is situated an ancient Roman road. In the area are many chalets and tourist routes. Orehovo is a starting point to the chalets “Persenk”,”Kabata”,”Chudnite mostove” (Wonderful bridges),”Skalni mostove” (Rock bridges). The village is popular with the famous peak Golyam Persenk (2091 meters above sea level) and a Roman road built on the old Thracian road, kept its stone surface intact to present days.Nearby is also the natural phenomenon Chudnite mostove (Wonderful bridges). About 25 kilometers from Orehovo is Chepelare town – an attractive winter and summer mountain resort. The balneological resort Narechen is 15 kilometers from the village.
